What Is Survival Race?
Survival Race is a multiplayer browser game in which player drive a car across a hexagonal platform that collapses under your wheels. There is no finish line, the only goal is to be the last car left on the platform. Tiles crack and fall away the moment you drive over them. The arena shrinks over time. Other real players are actively trying to ram you off the edge. Every match lasts 3–5 minutes, every round is different, and one bad turn and you lose the game.

Controls
Keyboard (Desktop)
| ← / → or A / D | Steer left and right |
| Spacebar | Jump — cross gaps and escape danger |
| Spacebar ×2 | Double jump mid-air for bigger gaps |
| Auto | Your car accelerates on its own — no gas key needed |
Mobile & Tablet
On touchscreen devices, on-screen buttons replace the keyboard. Left and right tap buttons handle steering, and a separate jump button appears on screen. The game detects your device automatically and no settings change needed. Works on both Android and iOS browsers.

How to Play
Each match starts with a short countdown. Use those seconds to look at the arena layout before the real game begins. When the horn sounds, your car starts moving forward automatically. Drive over tiles to collapse them behind you, collect gold coins scattered across the platform, use your jumps to cross gaps, and push rivals toward the edges. The last car on solid ground wins.
The key things to understand about the arena:
- Every tile you drive over will crack and fall within a few seconds so you cannot safely cross the same tile twice.
- The outer edges of the arena collapse on their own over time, even with no one driving on them. The platform is always shrinking.
- If you fall through a gap or off the edge, you are eliminated from that round and can join the next match instantly.

Game Modes
Survival Race has four modes, each with a different objective. This is what keeps the game fresh well beyond your first few hours.
⚔️ Battle Mode
The main mode. Compete against real players to be the last car on the platform. Ram rivals toward gaps, collect cups from eliminated opponents, and survive the ever-shrinking arena. Your rank is based on how long you survive and how many players you eliminate.
🏆 Parkour Mode
In Parkour mode there is no ramming, this level is about precision. Stars and keys are placed on elevated, hard-to-reach platforms. Jump and navigate to collect as many as possible. The player with the most stars wins. This Mode is Good for players who want to sharpen their jump timing and car control.
⚽ Autoball Mode
In this mode Giant balls appear on the platform and you drive into them to push them into one of four goal posts. Score the most goals to win. The platform is still disappearing underneath you the whole time and making it far more chaotic than it sounds.
🎓 Practice Mode
Free play with no opponents and no timer. Collect green checkpoints and drive until you fall off. The best place to learn how the tiles behave, dial in your steering, and get comfortable with jumping before taking on real players.

Cars and Vehicles
There are over 160 vehicles to unlock, all earned through gameplay and no real-money purchases required. Your first new car unlocks after collecting just 10 coins, so most players get it within their first couple of matches.
How to Earn Coins Faster
- Survive longer in Battle Mode – coins reward time on the platform
- Eliminate rivals – knocking a car off gives you their coins
- Collect stars and keys in Parkour Mode
- Score goals in Autoball Mode
Do Different Cars Actually Matter?
Yes, but skill matters more. No car is paywalled. Higher-value unlockable vehicles tend to have better stability and grip on the crumbling hexagonal tiles, which is a genuine advantage in late-game situations when the platform is nearly gone. You can also change any car’s color in the garage. Notable vehicles in the collection include high-performance supercars like the Bugatti Bolide (known for quick acceleration) and the McLaren Solus GT (tighter handling on narrow platforms).

Tips and Strategies
- Stay near the center. Edges collapse first as the arena shrinks. The center always has more stable tiles and more room to react.
- Never stop moving. Sitting still makes the tiles under you collapse faster and makes you an easy target. Keep circling.
- Only jump when you see a safe landing. Panic jumps send you off the arena entirely. Double jump is powerful so use it for wider gaps, not as a reflex.
- Pick your fights. Target players who are already near the edge or struggling. Do not chase someone in the middle of solid ground.
- Hang back early. Let other players fight and collapse tiles in the first minute. Join the action once the field thins out.
- Adjust drift sensitivity in settings. If you keep sliding off edges, lower the drift setting. This alone improves survival rate significantly for new players.
- Coins are secondary to survival. Only go for a coin if the path to it is clearly safe. A coin is not worth falling for.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why does the floor keep disappearing?
That is the core mechanic, every hexagonal tile collapses a few seconds after any car drives over it. It is intentional, not a bug. As more tiles fall, the arena gets smaller and the match gets more intense.
How do I unlock new cars?
Collect gold coins during matches. Your first new car unlocks at 10 coins. Every car in the game is free, there are no paid vehicles. With 160+ cars available, there is always something to work toward.
What is the best way to win in Battle Mode?
Stay near the center, keep moving, and let other players eliminate each other early. When the arena gets small, target players who are already close to the edge with small, controlled nudges rather than chasing players on solid ground.
Can Survival Race be played offline?
No. Every match is real-time multiplayer against actual players worldwide, so an internet connection is always required. There is no offline mode.
What does the jump do and when should I use it?
Spacebar launches your car into the air so you can cross gaps or escape danger. Press it a second time mid-air for a double jump to clear larger gaps. Only jump when you can see a safe landing spot — a blind jump usually ends your run.
Is Survival Race the same as Race Survival: Arena King?
They are built by the same developer (Brain Massage) and share the same hexagonal arena gameplay, four game modes, and car collection. Race Survival: Arena King is the mobile app store name. Survival Race is the browser version — same game, no download needed.
Does Survival Race work on mobile?
Yes. The game runs in mobile browsers on Android and iOS with automatic on-screen touch controls. No app download needed, just open the page and play.
How long does each match last?
Most Battle Mode rounds are 3–5 minutes. A 10-second countdown precedes each match. If you fall early, you can rejoin a new match immediately.
What is Autoball Mode?
Car football on a collapsing platform. Drive into giant balls to push them into goalposts while the hexagonal floor disappears around you. Score the most goals to top the leaderboard.
I keep falling off at the start, what am I doing wrong?
Most new players rush into the biggest crowd and lose tiles fast. At the start, steer toward a quieter area away from the main group and let others burn through the central tiles first. A few runs in Practice Mode to learn how the drift feels will also help a lot.
